Ask an OT

Ask an OT is a public service for consumers organized by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). CAOT members who are registered and qualified occupational therapists have volunteered to answer questions regarding health-related concerns or problems. Within five to seven working days, answers will be posted that provide general information on practical considerations about the health problem and how an occupational therapist could help. Answers do not constitute treatment or act as a substitute for an occupational therapy consultation.

Ask a question

Please note: This is a consumer service. We are unable to answer questions regarding educational requirements for occupational therapy practice or assist students with research projects. OT students enrolled in an Canadian entry-level occupational therapy educational progam are eligible for FREE student membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). CAOT student members have access to the Student Discussion Board and Student Networker resources that allow them to consult with students across the country
